  • Hot Spot with Holly Johnston

Together, we create an experience of dancing as a self-regulating system, mode and means of responding, communicating and expressing ourselves through movement. Your body is fully acknowledged as source and resource of limitless possibilities. It is in the flux between knowing and unknowing that our bodies respond as instinct in order to find ground(ing); it is in this borderland that body can be a great generator of creative energies. Integrating somatics, movement phrases and improvisation we will generate new patterns of moving-thinking that offer our bodies time-space to actualize, reorganize and transform through our inherent movement intelligence and personal physical volition.
